Installing Google Analytics

Here are instructions to install Google Analytics on your Spectra website using the manual installation method:

1.Log in to your Google Analytics account (or sign up for one). In the bottom left corner, click on Admin, then select Data Stream.

2.Click on your existing Data Stream (or set one up if none exist).

3.A new window will slide out, click on View Tag Instructions at the bottom.

4.Another window will slide out, click on Install Manually along the top, then copy the script using the copy button.

5.On your WordPress site, select Theme Settings from the sidebar on the left, then scroll down to the Universal Scripts area and paste your script in the first field, called Custom Scripts – Head.

6.Scroll all the way back up the Theme Settings area and click on the Update button in the top right to publish. Data should start flowing within 48 hours.
